We use the mineral foam granules, kerabims, to develop fire protection products. Kerabims is characterized in particular by a temperature resistance of over 1,000 °C, alkali resistance, and very high strengths. With that, when used in fire protection products, kerabims offers considerable advantages in contrast to other granulates, like e.g. an expanded glass.
Furthermore, because of the round pellet structure, it has excellent pump properties, for example when used in sprayed concrete.
